For a long time I have wanted to change the design of the tables at Calli Baker's.  Today I give you the beginning of that process.  My idea is to have individual Fire, Ems, and Police departments or personnel sponsor their own table here at Calli Baker's.  The one pictured here is dedicated to my first fire station in Horry County, station 7.  These tables can have photo's of crews, patches, or anything placed inside the table, so if you or your station is interested, please contact us at webmaster@callibakersfirehouse.com to receive a quote.

Last weekend, Calli Baker's Firehouse was a stop in a dice run sponsored by the S.C. Chapter of the Axe Men Motorcycle club.  The run was to raise money for a Myrtle Beach Firefighter and his family who were in need do to illness.  We had a great turnout, and even another fire truck present to help raise funds.  Special thanks to the Axe Men for thier work and also the Pinks Heals of North Carolina.  Keep up the good work!!!  For more information on the Pink Heels visit NCPinkHeals.org

The 4th annual pub crawl is set. We Welcome Bully's Pub in North Myrtle Beach, and Bimini's Oyster bar to the pub crawl schedule. The Party bus leaves Calli Baker's at noon on March 17th, with the first stop at Bully's Pub. Wear your green, and let's raise lot's of money for Helping Hands of Myrtle Beach. The stops on the pub crawl are: Bully's Pub, The Office, Flip Flop's, Bimini's, and back to Calli Baker's. No need to drive, the party bus will get you where you need to go for only $5 bucks.

Calli Baker's Firehouse would like to inform you that we will be installing Fire Rescue Tv at our location at the end of the month. This is a wonderful product that I feel can benefit local firefighters, and am pround to bring it to you. This Tuesday is Mardi Gras, and what better way to celebrate that great food specials.  My Dad has a wonderful recipe for Jambalaya, so we will introduce Danny's Cajun Jambalaya this Tuesday.  With smoked sausage, chicken breasts, celery, onions, peppers, and few other secret ingredients, this Jambalaya will make you think your on Bourbon Street.  We will also be serving Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo and grilled Cheese, and some great drink specials, so stop by and check us out this Tuesday!!!

On Saturday, February 11, at about 2120 hrs, Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a reported fire at the Seafare restaurant at 9922 N. Kings Hwy.  Smoke and fire were visible upon arrival, and crews requested a second alarm and mutual aid from the city's of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.  Hwy 17 was shut down for a number of hours as crews worked the incident.  Extremely high winds during the incident made controlling the fire difficult.  Calli Baker's Firehouse would like to thank all the men and women working this incident, and everyday here in Horry County.
